Something transformative ive been doing lately is before any hard decision or in an uncomfortable situation, asking myself “what would I do if I were a man?” Which makes you unwire yourself from patriachal double standards where as a women you are confined in certain forms, but as a man you are meant to thrive unrestricted. A good example of this is no longer restricting food to maintain a small figure, because if I were born a man I would be told to eat an abundance, because its good for you and you need the fuel to grow muscule. If I were a skinny boy I would be told to eat more, not complimented on my small weak unsustainable frame. If I were born a man I wouldn’t second guess getting my hair cut short because I wouldnt be pretty anymore, I would do it because its practical. etc etc
